It's easy to see why Grittleton House is one of the most popular wedding venues in the Cotswolds region. And I was like enough to shoot two incredible couples there.

Grittleton House is a stunning stately home set in the quintessential English countryside close to the Cotswolds and Bath. The first building on the site was Grittleton Manor, a three bay Jacobean manor dating from 1660. The gardens at Grittleton House are also well worth exploring - they contain over 250 trees dating back hundreds of years as well as many other plants including roses, clematis and lavender.

Beautiful 17th century house with original features such as open fireplaces and oak-beamed ceilings throughout, combined with modern facilities.

Grittleton House is a Grade I listed building and has some beautiful original features that make for stunning photos. These original features include open fireplaces and oak-beamed ceilings throughout.

Grittleton House is a beautiful location for a wedding. The house itself is stunning, with its expansive grounds and parkland setting. It's also an ideal venue for holding your wedding reception - or even just part of it! This beautiful country house, accessed via a private tree lined drive, with picturesque gardens is yours for the duration of your wedding.

There is also space to stay in the house, the beautifully refurbished master bedrooms, or family suites, which also meals that family and friends can stay over too! Before all coming together for breakfast in the Morning room. The impressive Manor House and the surrounding expansive grounds provide the venue with the opportunity to host weddings all year-round.

Whilst taking photos at Grittleton House, it rained hard. But the fact is, there are so many rooms at your disposal within the house itself that you needn’t step outside unless you choose to do so. Cosy up indoors and decorate the function rooms with candles and lanterns. If you do choose to utilise the Orangery then heaters are on hand to make sure your guests are comfortable.
