Miriam & Rob: Barns & Yard of Hanley Hall

When you set foot on the grounds of Hanley Hall, you'll feel the ancient magic of its history. From the Manor House to the gardens and beyond, there's a sense that this place has been here for decades—and will continue to be here for decades more. That's true even if it's just as a romantic setting for your wedding ceremonies and receptions. They've designed Barns & Yard as an extension of Hanley Hall itself: a modern barn with all the beauty and majesty you'd expect from an old-world estate. Barns & Yard is a luxury barn wedding and events venue based at the base of the incredible Malvern Hills, which offer breathtaking views across this beautiful part of England. The Tudor barn has been lovingly restored to create an elegant yet rustic space for your special day, with exposed beams and oak floors throughout.

Miriam & Rob chose this venue to celebrate their big day, and honestly it was perfect.

You'll find Hanley Hall in the heart of Worcestershire countryside, just 1 hour from Birmingham and 3 hours from London. The venue has been lovingly restored by its owners and offers a range of accommodation options for guests. With its classic country house charm, it makes an ideal setting for weddings and events alike:

If you'd like to stay overnight at Barns and Yard at Hanley Hall there are three cottages available - each with their own en suite bathroom (including three king size doubles). In addition there is a courtyard garden area where guests can enjoy breakfast outside on sunny days! These can accommodate up to 10 people - these make the perfect bridal preparation spaces and bridal party accommodation!

The Malvern Hills

The Malvern Hills are a range of hills in the English Midlands, which form the eastern half of the Malverns. The hilltops have been occupied since prehistoric times, but it was not until the 18th century that they became popular as a tourist destination; they were then visited by Romantic poets such as William Wordsworth who described them as "the loveliest spot on earth".

Miriam and Rob made use of the whole venue, and even brought Beefy Boys over from Hereford, they parked their trailer on the drive, and we had burgers for dinner. Superb!
